Manuel Iván Cordero is a professional set designer for theatre, film, television, and theme parks.   With more than 26 years of design experience to his name, Mr. Cordero has designed numerous projects for Universal Studios, Walt Disney Worldwide, Nickelodeon, and MTV Networks.  He holds a BFA in Theatre Design & Technical Production from East Carolina University and an MFA in Set Design from Brandeis University. 

In the digital world, Manuel applies conventional and fundamental concepts of art from concept to fruition utilizing AutoCAD, Sketchup, Illustrator, and Photoshop. As an Educator,  he encourages students to break the barriers of software intimidation, by allowing them to explore each program with confidence and ease. As a fine artist, Manuel brings his theatrical training and the influence of his Latin roots to his canvases. He combines the heartfelt impressions of his homeland of Puerto Rico, with the ongoing mysteries of the theatrical and the performing arts.
